The Claddagh is originally an Irish wedding, friendship, or engagement ring. It depicts two hands holding a heart with a crown. The heart symbolizes love, the hands friendship and trust, and the crown loyalty. Worn on the right hand with the heart facing away from the wearer, it represents the search for a partner.
